Cat

Catherine “Cat” Martinez is from El Paso, Texas. She will proudly strike up a conversation with anyone that mentions UTEP -- Go Miners! Cat graduated from Baylor University and went on to complete her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Grand Canyon University. She is now an Account Manager for a local Seattle tech company.

Cat identifies as LatinX, ChicanX, and queer. Her own family isolation has inspired her to seek out chosen family. This was a driving force for her to join Spectrum Resource Center as a board member. She seeks support and mentorship from her elders, as well as enjoys mentoring younger generations.

Cat enjoys reading a good book by a fire, any sport, and being in the great outdoors.
